Norwalk Inn A 40-year hospitality industry veteran, Maria was just ten years old when her parents purchased the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center, Fairfield County’s only family and woman-owned and operated full service hotel. As CEO and General Manager of the Norwalk Inn, Maria’s vision and strategy has led the Company through the fierce economic crisis that was COVID, and has led to successful business transformation as the hotel now celebrates its 40th year in business. Prior to assuming her full-time role at the Norwalk Inn, Maria served over two decades as a public school teacher in Stamford, CT. She is a TEDx speaker, Sunday School director, avid photographer, Rotary Club president, and devoted wife and mother. Most recently she was commended by the Sweet Mother Organization as the 2025 Outstanding Businesswoman of the Year. Maria received her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Connecticut, has a Master's degree in Teaching, and holds an advanced graduate degree in Educational Administration.
